The Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) is pleased to announce the publication of its Annual Report 2024, highlighting a transformative year marked by expansion, innovation, and deepened stakeholder engagement.
One of the key achievements of 2024 was the successful implementation of Version 3.0 of the CSC Technical Manual. Developed through extensive stakeholder consultations and expert workshops—including on biodiversity and human rights—the updated manual reflects the latest developments in sustainable practices and addresses the evolving challenges across the concrete value chain.
By the end of the year, CSC reached a record 1,297 active certifications, underscoring the growing recognition and uptake of sustainable practices across the global concrete industry.
This progress was accompanied by geographic expansion, with first-time certifications in Ireland, Latvia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. The official launch of CSC in the MENA region, in partnership with our new Regional System Operator Grey Matters in Dubai, further solidified CSC’s global presence and engagement.
Continued collaboration with industry leaders, certification bodies, and academic institutions played a vital role in strengthening the CSC system and ensuring its relevance and impact.
We invite all stakeholders, partners, and sustainability professionals to explore the full report and to learn more about CSC’s impact, milestones, and its vision for the future.
