Betonhuis, has published the CSC Sustainability Report 2024, the fourth national CSC report for the Netherlands. The report demonstrates how the Dutch concrete sector complies with the international CSC sustainability standard, with certified companies providing verified evidence of environmental performance, social responsibility, and raw material traceability.
A core element of the report is the Monitoring Tool, now in its fourth year of use, which collects environmental data across the sector to track progress on CO₂ reduction and circularity. All data have been independently verified by certification bodies, with environmental indicators additionally audited in line with the N3810 standard.
In 2024, an updated dataset (A2) aligned with European LCA standards was introduced, improving the reliability of CO₂ calculations and overall results. The data show continued progress, with broader participation in the monitoring system and an increasing number of companies achieving higher CSC certification levels.
