Key Updates in the Technical Manual
E3.03 & E7.03 – Data reference timing at certification is now aligned with M5.01.
S4.07 Preventive Medical Examination – All employees must be offered a regular preventive medical check-up at least every three years, at no cost, following recommendations such as those in the GCCA Health Management Handbook.
M5.01 Platinum Requirement – Minimum requirement set at 4 points.
Precast Concrete Without Concrete Production (3.0 English) – The mandatory requirement for E4.08 Clean Air Silos may be waived, as precast plants without fresh concrete production typically do not operate silos.
Key Updates in the Technical Manual – Annex
M4.02 Certified Health & Safety Management System – For the Netherlands and Belgium, VCA** (2 points) has been added.
M5.01 Publishing Annual KPIs – Recognition added for CRSD/ESRS, EMAS (4 points), and for Germany: Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitskodex (4 points).
M5.02 Externally Verified KPIs – Added: ISSA 5000 (2 points); EMAS Verification Statement (1 point), for the Netherlands: Dutch Standards 3000A/3000D (2 points); for Italy: SSAE (2 points).
E1.02 – E1.04 Emission Reporting & EPD Requirements – Including for the Netherlands: product-specific entries in the National Milieu Database (NMD), Category 1.
These updates strengthen clarity, harmonisation, and regional applicability across the CSC certification system.
