CSC General Assembly 2025: Celebrating Growth and Collaboration

October 2, 2025

On Thursday, 25 September 2025, the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) held its annual General Assembly, followed by the Certification Body (CB) Roundtable and the Regional System Operator (RSO) Roundtable meetings on the 26th September 2025.

The General Assembly provided an important platform to review organisational matters and to hear directly from the Regional System Operators (RSOs), who shared their achievements in advancing concrete sustainability in their respective countries and regions.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of outstanding achievements:

BTB in Germany was awarded for reaching the milestone of almost 1,000 CSC-certified plants.
GVTB in Austria was recognised for its impressive growth, certifying more than 50 plants in just one year.

The Assembly also included a workshop on CSC system developments, moderated by GBCI Managing Director Kay Killmann, Chair of the newly established CSC Advisory Committee.

For the first time, CSC also welcomed the participation of its sponsors, who play an essential role in supporting CSC’s mission and contributing to its growth worldwide.

The 2025 General Assembly once again demonstrated the member-driven character of CSC, bringing together a diverse community committed to making sustainable practices in concrete, cement and aggregate production visible and impactful across the globe.
