CSC at GBCI Europe Circle 2025 – Driving Impact Through Innovation in Prague

The Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) participated as a sponsor and panelist at GBCI Europe Circle 2025, held on 14–15 May in Prague and is proud to contribute to advancing sustainability and innovation across the built environment 

The event was organized by Kay Killmann, Managing Director of GBCI Europe and Chair of the CSC Advisory Committee, who continues to play a key role in driving the adoption of LEED across Europe and fostering collaboration within the green building community.

CSC’s Chair, Christian Artelt, joined the event’s panel discussion,
“Revolutionizing construction materials in the race to zero carbon, zero waste and circularity,” providing insights on decarbonization measures of the cement and concrete industry and sharing how CSC-certification supports implementing sustainable practices in the concrete sector.

GBCI Europe, a regional branch of Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), has supported LEED certification across the continent since its establishment in Munich in 2017. GBCI provides third-party verification for LEED and other sustainability standards worldwide—driving green business practices, global competitiveness, and improved environmental and human health outcomes.
