Holcim is the first German cement manufacturer to have received CSC Platinum certification according to the new CSC Version 3.0.
After the Beckum cement plant was the first plant to set the benchmark at the high CSC Gold level with recertification according to the much more rigorous criteria of version 3.0 in summer 2024, the Duisburg-Schwelgern plant followed in September 2024, and now since March, also the Holcim cement plants in Höver and Lägerdorf. All three are certified with the highest CSC Platinum level. This makes Holcim the only cement manufacturer in Germany to be certified in accordance with the new CSC Version 3.0 Platinum.
In addition, the Holcim ECOCycle-Center Dortmund was the first recycling hub in Germany to be awarded the CSC sustainability certification for Recycled Aggregates. To complete the picture, all Holcim Germany gravel plants and quarries are now certified with Gold.
