Innovation Credit Guidelines: 2026 Consultation Dates Announced

December 16, 2025

The Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) is pleased to announce the  2026 consultation dates for petitions submitted under the B3 Innovation Credit of the CSC Certification System.

The Innovation Credit recognises innovative practices, products, and solutions that demonstrate leadership in responsible sourcing across the concrete sector and its supply chain. Through this mechanism, CSC continues to encourage transformational, impactful, and replicable innovations that go beyond existing certification requirements.

Petitions for Innovation Credit points are assessed by the CSC Innovation Committee (IC) in line with the Innovation Credit Guidelines, evaluating submissions based on novelty, impact, and replicability. Up to three innovations may be submitted per petition, with a maximum of two innovations contributing to the score, capped at 9 points

There are six consultation rounds per year. To be considered, petitions must be submitted at least one week prior to the selected consultation date. Submissions received after the deadline will be reviewed in the following round.
