The Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) is pleased to announce that FUCHS Fertigteilwerke Süd and FUCHS Fertigteilwerke Siegen have successfully achieved a remarkable CSC Silver Certification for their precast concrete plants in Röttenbach, Karlsruhe and Siegen. These newly certified sites follow the lead of FUCHS Fertigteilwerke West for the plants in Gladbeck and Dosten, which were awarded CSC Silver in 2024.
This recognition reflects FUCHS’ continued commitment to responsible sourcing, resource efficiency, and sustainable practices throughout its precast concrete operations.
Marcel Kästner, Managing Director of FUCHS Fertigteilwerke Süd, shared the following statement:
“We are very pleased that FUCHS Fertigteilwerke Süd and FUCHS Fertigteilwerke Siegen are now CSC Silver certified. They now follow the FUCHS Fertigteilwerke West, which had already reached this milestone in 2024. Our work is defined by reliable employees, a responsible use of resources, and an efficient way of working. The Silver status highlights what we have achieved.”
To accompany this announcement, FUCHS has provided images of their current project in Mennekrath, where a new water treatment facility is under construction to serve the surrounding communities—an excellent example of how their certified operations contribute to vital public infrastructure.CSC congratulates the FUCHS team for this outstanding achievement and their leadership in driving sustainability within the precast concrete sector.
