Holcim Germany has secured another five CSC Platinum and Gold certificates for its Ready-Mix Concrete (RMX) plants. The Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) has awarded this recognition to Holcim’s Wuppertal and Oberhausen plants, both in an outstanding CSC Platin Level as well as Bocholt, Nonnweiler-Mariahütte and Wasserliesch with a superb CSC Gold level, marking them as exemplars of eco-friendly and socially responsible concrete production. All new Holcim certificates come along with the CSC CO2-Module (up to 3 Stars).
Marc Holberg, Managing Director of Ready-Mix Concrete at Holcim Germany:
“We are immensely proud to have achieved CSC Platinum and Gold for our RMX concrete plants. This sustainable superiority of our products will help our customers to score better results in their DGNB ratings (German Sustainable Building Council) and QNG schemes (German green building subsidy) of their construction projects.”
This milestone not only propels Holcim Germany to the forefront of sustainable concrete production but also serves as an example for the entire construction sector.
