In a significant achievement for sustainable construction, three Turkish concrete plants have been awarded the prestigious “Gold” level CSC-certification by the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC). The Albayrak Beton Yenidogan Ready Mixed Concrete Plant, Alton Beton Sile Ready Mixed Concrete Plant, and Alton Beton Sile Aggregate Plant have all successfully attained this high level of certification, underscoring their commitment to sustainable practices in the concrete industry.
The “Gold” level certificates were formally presented to Erdal Albayrak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Albayrak Beton, during a ceremony held on August 16th in Türkiye. Yavuz Işık, President of the Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association (THBB), presided over the ceremony, highlighting the significance of this achievement for the Turkish construction sector.
The CSC-certification at the Gold level is a testament to the plants’ adherence to rigorous environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
