The Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) proudly participated as a strategic partner in the Decarb Connect Europe event in Berlin, bringing together industry leaders to advance Europe’s decarbonization mission.
A highlight of the event was the visit to Cemex Rüdersdorf Cement plant, which was awarded the prestigious Gold Certificate. Liliana Lasso de la Vega, CSC’s Secretariat, Financial, and Technical Manager, presented the award alongside VDZ Auditor Jean Marc Söldner, recognizing Cemex Rüdersdorf’s exemplary sustainability achievements.
Liliana Lasso de la Vega also chaired Day 2 of the event, presenting CSC’s initiatives and leading discussions on sustainability, policy, and innovation. Additionally, CSC maintained an active presence at their booth, where Jakob Gräen from Regional System Operator BTB showcased CSC’s vision and engaged with policymakers, industry leaders, and tech innovators.
