Heidelberg Materials Mineralik DE GmbH continues to expand the number of its German production facilities certified by the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC).
As part of a recent certification campaign, Heidelberg Materials Mineralik achieved CSC-certification for the first time for its two plants Hohen Wangelin and Zurow. The plants were certified at the level “Gold” such as the plants in Balve, Bittstädt, Brühl, Dettelbach, Hemmoor, Kalkar, Kronau, Langhagen, Stade, and Zirkow which were re-certified during the same campaign. With this, Heidelberg Materials Mineralik now operates 32 CSC-certified sand and gravel plants throughout Germany.
This recent CSC-certification campaign is an important step to grow the offering of responsibly sourced aggregates throughout Germany and to support the supply of responsibly sourced concrete into Green Building projects.
