Concrete Supermix S.A, a Gloría Group company has received the CSC Responsible Sourcing Certification at the Silver level in two of its plants located in Peru.
The Variant Plant in Arequipa and the Huasao Plant in Cusco, both plants received Silver certification from the Concrete Sustainability Council – CSC.
It is the first Concrete company in Peru obtaining the CSC certification.
“This achievement demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and value generation with all stakeholders within our value chain and will be the basis for the continuous improvement of our operations” says Ing Andrés Sotillo, coordinator of the certification.
To date, 16 plants have been certified in Latin America, confirming the visible and very significant sustainability transition of the concrete industry in this region.
