CSC-Certification now available for Marine Aggregates

October 8, 2021

The CSC has made available a new certification system for Marine Aggregates.

The scope of certification of this new supplier certificate includes a wharf (where the marine aggregates are unladed), its dredging zones (supplying excavation sites) and – via a dedicated evidence list – the dredgers (ships) that excavate the material and ensure the supply of the wharf.

All wharfs targeting CSC certification must follow the “Marine Aggregates” system.

CSC certified Marine Aggregates will contribute to concrete producers’ CSC score in the same way as its land-based counterpart, i.e. via the Chain of Custody criterion “C2 Aggregates”.
