BAU München 2025 provided a prominent stage for advancing sustainable construction, with the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) showcasing its special exhibition, “This Is How Sustainable Building Works.”
A key moment during the event on January 15, 2025, was when Michael Scharpf (CSC Vice Chair), Cynthia Imesch (CSC Coordinator and Sustainability Manager), and Andreas Phan (BTB representative) presented the first Platinum CSC Version 3.0 Certificates to leading concrete manufacturers at the DGNB stand. Michael Scharpf pointed out that the CSC Version 3.0, similar to previous CSC versions, took up the advice given by green building labels to achieve the highest recognition in green building rating schemes, such as DGNB.
Dyckerhoff, Holcim, and HeidelbergMaterials were honored for their commitment to sustainability, while Spenner Herkules, though not present, also achieved Platinum certification under Version 3.0.
The outstanding CSC Platinum Certificates reflect the dedication of these companies to sustainable practices and their leadership within the construction industry.
Congratulations to all the recipients on this achievement. We look forward to building on this momentum to drive greater sustainability in the sector.
