Heidelberg Materials Italia Calcestruzzi SpA continues with the roll-out of CSC certification in Italy. The company recently certified nine of its concrete plants throughout the country. Six plants achieved CSC certification at the level “Gold”, three further plants achieved the certification level “Silver”.
The sustainability credentials of CSC-certified concrete provide enhanced credibility in Green Public Procurement in particular in the context of low carbon products and products with recycled aggregate content. CSC-certified concrete can also contribute to improve the rating of LEED and BREEM certified Green Buildings.
