Holcim Colombia shows its commitment to sustainable construction and has re-certified its Puente Aranda Concrete plant in Bogota to Gold level, and the Cement plant in Nobsa, Boyacá to Silver level. The Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) has awarded this prestigious recognition to Holcim Colombia, marking them as examples of environmentally and socially responsible concrete production.
“We feel very satisfied because this is the second time we have received these certificates that consolidate our leadership position in sustainable construction. We are on the right track in our decarbonization mission and we feel a great responsibility to continue designing sustainable and value-added products for our customers”, said Marco Maccarelli, CEO Holcim Colombia.
The Concrete Sustainability Council provides follow-up and full support to interested companies in the certification process of their plants through the helpdesk.
