Grey Matters formerly known as Grey Matters Consultancy is an innovative professional entity created to serve the construction and concrete industries. Our vision began in 2007 and materialized in February 2008. Grey Matters Head Office is based in Dubai, UAE and serves the Gulf and Middle East region. Grey Matters is a leading inspection and third party consultancy body. Grey Matters provides a wide range of third party consultancy services covering Durability Assessments, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), Construction support, Investigation, Technical Advice and more.
“We decided to become CSC Regional System Operator for the Middle East because it strengthens our advocacy about sustainability and transparency in the construction and concrete industry. In addition, this helps our wider mission of serving the construction industry and specifically the concrete sector on ONE STOP SHOP basis.”, explained Subramanian Sivaramakrishnan, General Manager of Grey Matters.

As interest in sustainable development grows, the ready mixed concrete industry must be able to support sustainable development, balancing economic prosperity, social equity, and environmental responsibility. “Moving towards a sustainable, environmentally conscious production model not only reduces environmental burdens, but also increases efficiency and places ready mixed concrete plants in a position of industry leadership in the growing green movement. When effectively communicated to consumers, a progressive stance on sustainability will allow the concrete industry and its constituents to remain responsibly competitive. CSC certification will allow us to move in that direction”, kept explaining Subramanian.
